A seminar to help couples learn to complete instead of compete as they build their marriage team
Spouses sometimes feel like the odd couple. One usually sees a glass as half empty while the other sees it as half full. On a trip one will say “let’s stop” while the other says “let’s keep going.” One will “have a place for everything and everything in its place” while the other always says, “it’s gotta be here somewhere.” Incompatibility can actually be grounds for building a great marriage team, and “TeamMates: A Celebration of Marriage” will show how to build that team. This seminar is encouraging, entertaining and enlightening.
Those attending TeamMates will receive these benefits……
HOW TO TALK SO YOUR MATE WILL LISTEN
What husbands and wives say to each other – and how they say it – will determine the level of intimacy in their marriage. In this session couples will see those areas that can cause barriers in their marriage and will learn the techniques that will help them build a communication bridge.
LET’S GET OUT OF THE ARGUMENT RUT
If a couple does not have a way to resolve conflicts that arise in a marriage the problems drag on and on and eventually the marriage becomes stuck. This session looks at an eight step plan that will help a couple resolve their differences.
HELP! WHAT DOES MY SPOUSE WANT?
Since men and women are very different they often misinterpret what their spouse needs or wants. By learning to identify those needs, every mate can have a greater love and desire for each other. In this session a wife will learn how to be the woman of her husband’s dreams and a husband will learn how to be the man of his wife’s dreams.
IT TAKES THREE TO BE A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM
Our connection with God helps us connect with each other in a more intimate way. This session teaches couples how to practically experience God together as they become spiritual partners.
NOTE: There are 12 other topics that can be presented. They can be given to you upon request. The above four topics are the main ones usually given at an initial seminar or conference.
